Located in Liwa desert, the southern region of UAE, this green and glamorous resort will open its doors in 2020. The project has recently has been unveiled by Baharash Architecture, showing environmental considerations in all aspects.
When there is a spring in the desert, there is a life. Once the design team recognized that ground water can be extracted from a deep well, the spring become their inspiration for creating a story around it. The spring will act as the heart of an oasis with the water used for crop irrigation, fish farming and recreational activities. Moreover, it will provide a natural environment for wildlife.
84 interconnecting suites of this resort will perfectly blend into the epic landscape and provide amazing vistas. All accommodations and functional areas will present exceptional luxury and comfort. All the typical facilities of a luxury resort – a fitness centre and spa, restaurant and bar, will find their way to the hear of the desert for the guests’ enjoyment.
Surrounded by 157,000 square feet of roofs with solar panels, Oasis Eco Resort will be able to meet the challenge of energy independence. Additional sustainable features will be implemented in the property such as onsite water management, waste management and zero-emission zone. Besides, wildlife biologists and conservation staff will be employed to take care of keeping the resort’s environment in balance.
