It’s new, it’s fresh and it’s unlike any other boat show in the country. The unique Thailand Yacht Show is coming to Phuket to stir things up in the boating industry.
Showcasing what’s best and latest in boating industry, yacht charters and luxury lifestyle is what has already been done by other boating events in Phuket and Thailand. And while the inaugural edition of the Thailand Yacht Show will cover all these areas as well, there’s more. The focus here are superyachts, those magnificent, head turning vessels that grab the attention of not just the most dedicated seafarers ad industry professionals but of anyone with appreciation of great design, style and human ingenuity. The key is the show’s location, at Phuket’s Ao Po Grand Marina, which allows access for yachts larger than 100 meters, a feature unseen anywhere else on the island. This, paired with spectacular vistas of the nearby Phan Nga bay is bound to result in one of the most photogenic yacht gatherings out there.
The event was created by the organizers of the Singapore Yacht Show with Thai government providing its full support, in order to promote Thailand and Phuket as the “Marina Hun of ASEAN”. This means a show that aims to be attractive for both the exhibitors and the spectators. Among the first ones are such brands as Lee Marine, Azimut, Simpson Marine and many others. The latter, except for the exhibitors’ offerings, will enjoy cocktail, champagne and wine tastings, daily competitions and presentations of the latest marine technologies and gadgets such as jetsurf, seabob and more.
