Red gold and titanium never looks as great as in the latest watch from MB&F, created in collaboration with French watch designer Alain Silberstein.
This elegant timepiece is the latest installment of MB&F’s “Performance Art” series. Based on horological nostalgia, MB&F LM1 is a mix between Swiss watchmaking of the 19th century and modern pop art styling – the signature of A. Siberstein. Engraved on the chassis is a quote from Flaubert : “Le vrai bonheur est d’avoir sa passion pour metier” roughly meaning “True happiness is making a living with once passion” in English. The phrase conveys special meaning for French watch designer Alain Silberstein and MB&F founder Maximilian Büsser, as they both walked out their comfort zones to chase up their dreams.
Three bright colors red, blue, yellow plus the geometric shapes – triangle, rectangle and circle – are all eye catching elements of the design. The convex sapphire crystal dome and balance bridge guarantee protection from external forces.
