Last year’s government beach cleanup in Phuket deprived the island of some of its popular entertainment and dining venues. But do not despair – after all necessity is the mother of invention! What disappeared from the beaches, reappeared at new pool bars, lounges and clubs. We visited the latest one – it’s called Firefly.
Firefly is a quickly rising star in Phuket’s universe of dining, day and night life. Best proof – during our visit we bumped into a couple of chefs of other renowned Phuket dining spots and they all were full of prize about the place (and the food, of course).
On paper Firefly has got it all – a fabulous freeform pool of no less than 60 meters, excellent food on the menu featuring wood fired frill specialities and a spectacular selection of cocktails second to none on the island. But when you actually visit the place, you find one more thing – a relaxing, family friendly vibe.
