Proximity of water isn’t the only thing Phuket and Venice have in common. There is also tourism. But that’s not all; another connection comes in the form of fine dining – both places offer a great selection of splendid restaurants. The award-winning Chef Andrea Asoli of the exquisite Ristorante Venissa in Venice, who will soon arrive to please the guests of Tré Restaurant at Banyan Tree Phuket, should feel right at home.
Chef Andrea Asoli is the first Michelin Starred chef to hold residence at the recently reopened Tré Restaurant. Chef Asoli will take center stage in a delectable culinary extravaganza, alongside his renowned 5-course tasting menu.
Chef Andrea’s food is rooted in centuries-old tradition and dynamic flavors of Venetian and Milanese cuisine. Originally hailing from Rome, he began working in the Roman trattorias at the age of 18 where he learned the flavors and textures of Italy’s most authentic culinary traditions. Working in several award-winning restaurants has won him celebrity chef status and his holistic, approach in the kitchen has impressed food critics both at home and abroad.
Tré Restaurant will soon host this rising star of the culinary world, as it begins its journey to become Phuket’s creative culinary playground, open to masterful chefs from around the globe. Guests are invited to stop by Tré from January 13-18 to indulge in a truly unforgettable dining experience. For that occasion Chef Asoli has created an exclusive 5-course set menu. He has also crafted a spectacular a la carte menu consisting of a selection of the choicest appetizers, mains, and desserts, available also with a range of fine wines tailored specifically for the accompanying courses.
