How to throw a perfect party? First find an excuse, than add some music, food, company and to leave a lasting impression, set it all in a dazzling location. Just like Phuket’s Kata Rocks did for its second anniversary.
Mind-blowing scenery is a given at Kata Rocks – Phuket’s trendiest resort – which combines the astounding vistas that it’s blessed with, with its own futuristic design, all to an amazing effect.
With such stage set for the party, Kata Rocks brought in no other than José Padilla, the internationally renowned ‘Godfather of Chill’ to provide the soundtrack for their second birthday party. And as any respectable birthday party guest would, Padilla came with a gift. The event provided a perfect opportunity to launch his ‘Kata Rocks by José Padilla’ CD, dedicated to Kata Rocks. With the support of a local Dj Nemo Cools, Padilla’s provided some of his signature ‘Best of Ibiza’ sound to the party.
With those well chilled sounds setting the mood, the party goers could enjoy a free flow of alcoholic drinks and spectacular Mediterranean cuisine, fresh local and imported seafood, barbeque classics, Thai delights, world famous imported cheese and a gourmet selection of premium cold cuts from Kata Rocks brunch menu, created by the resort’s Spanish-born Executive Chef Laia Pons.
