From the fields of flowers giving their sweet scent to some of the world’s most famous perfumes, to gardens of herbs offering their flavors to numerous delicacies, from picturesque vineyards giving life to spectacular wines, to breathtaking seascapes of the Cote D’Azur – with such wealth of sensory pleasures, no wonder that the French region of Provence works like a magnet on poets, painters, celebrities and tourists. And it’s also this sensory overload of Provence that inspired the latest makeover of Four Seasons Spa & l’Occitane in Singapore.
Between March 13 and 19 the guests of Four Seasons Spa & L’Occitane are invited to take part in a sensorial journey across hotel decor, scents, spa rituals and delectable cuisine. The hotel spa and restaurant will be transformed into a Provencal retreat with beautiful floral arrangements and decorations reminiscent of the idyllic south of France.
The delectable and visually arresting Michelin-starred cuisine of Couvent des Minimes Executive Chef Jerome Roy will be an integral part of this unique experience. His dishes served at the award-winning One-Ninety Restaurant, will feature inherently Provençale ingredients such as lavender which is brought to life in roasted rack of lamb with lavender, chickpea galette and cream with saffron; lemon which is used for a refreshing lemon cocktail concocted with cream, biscuit, sorbet, foam and crystallized sugar; almond in crispy almond biscuits; orange blossom in orange blossom shortbread and more. Guests will be able to enjoy chef’s Roy’s creation during lunch, dinner and at special cooking and spa presentations.
Going beyond fine cuisine in order to bring the guests even closer to the natural landscapes of Provence, a selection of specially crafted SPA treatments will also be introduced, featuring the Harmonie Divine Facial, which combines the power of the earth and the sea of Corsica and harnesses the fusion of two precious ingredients with exceptional properties: Immortelle Millésimée essential oil – from the flower that never fades; and Jania Rubens – the algae with the ability to eternally regenerate.
