Hong Kong, China – Camlux Hospitality, Ltd. announced the soft launch of its Café 15 in Kowloon Bay. The eatery is part of the Camlux Hotel and its launch marks the first hotel in the district. To celebrate, Camlux Hotel is offering 50 percent off the best available rate for online bookings now through Aug. 31, 2017, subject to availability.
The hotel is located in a converted factory near the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre (KITEC). The former manufacturing district is enjoying a renaissance as a hub for business and tourism spurred in part by Camlux Hospitality’s introduction of its contemporary luxury accommodations to the area.
The design and décor of Café 15 pays homage to the hotel’s former industrial heritage where the Camel company manufactured flasks that have become collector’s items around the world. Camel has designed a number of special edition flasks specifically for the Camlux Hotel.
Hints of the factory’s history have been reimagined and subtly incorporated into the décor, including products, the floor plan and select pieces. The atmosphere is light, airy and takes advantage of natural lighting to accent the modern and sophisticated black steel structure and grey tiling.
Zurich-trained head chef, Harry Chan, is at the helm of Café 15. His menu features slow-cooked cuisine that takes full advantage of seasonal ingredients. Guests and locals will find an international selection of signature and seasonal delicacies for ala carte dining throughout the day and an extensive range of refreshments to celebrate Happy Hour.
The retro-themed, family-friendly hotel has barrier free facilities and contains six stories with 185 rooms. Guests can choose from accommodation options ranging from Studio and Family to Comfy and Cosy, with room size comparable to other quality hotels throughout the city.
The Camlux features two courtyards, free Wi-Fi throughout and smart TVs that easily connect to mobile devices for personal entertainment. Those traveling for pleasure or business have access to the in-house currency exchange, 24-hour gym, luggage storage, laundry and dry cleaning services, and on-call medical services.
Available to all, business clients will especially appreciate the meeting rooms, limousine service, secretarial services that include photocopying, printing and laptop rental, along with complimentary in-town shuttle bus to Nathan Road and the Kowloon Airport Express Link.
The launch of Café 15 on the ground floor of the Camlux Hotel is the first of its kind in the area, providing anyone with the opportunity to enjoy international cuisine in friendly, luxurious surroundings.
