News travels fast in Phuket, and when it’s big news, it travels even faster. So when a two-Michelin star Chef Stefano Baiocco and the Villa Feltrinelli Team landed at the island’s Sri Panwa resort for a Sri Panwa & Baba Phuket’s POP UP, it quickly became the talk of the town.
Foodies from across the island, who were lucky enough to attend the fist night of the event, reported it to be one of the most spectacular dining experiences in recent memory. Chef Stefano Baiocco, known primarily for his passion for fresh, garden grown ingredients and ingenuity when it comes to salad creations, conjured an astounding menu combining Italian flavours with local ingredients, austere simplicity with sophisticated refinement – in short, exactly what one would expect from a chef of such stature.
